I started doing Youtube videos when I was in fifth grade-5 years ago. But I stopped doing videos, because I thought people would make fun of me(which they apparently did).
Within the years, I started and stopped a few times again. But, since I´ve had this blog for two years, which means I´ve been putting myself on the internet anyways, I finally and absolutely started my Youtube again, with the intetion of not caring about what other people think! 

I´m doing fashion/beauty/random lifestyle stuff- related videos :D My channel is called: sophiedoesrandomstuff  because, well I´m doing pretty random stuff^^.

It would be an honor to me, if you would check it out, or eventually subscribe ^^.

Taking over Berlin

On sunday the 10th of August, I arrived in the capital of this loevly country called Germany. I went with my mum, and like a typical adult, she wanted to visit the "Typical sights" first. I wanted to see them too, even though I would rather climb a roof and watch artists. But, well, here you have some pictures of the "Brandenburger Tor", the "Fernsehturm" and the "Reichstag". We didn´t go into the Reichstag, because you ahd a two hour long waiting time in the endless qeue. But maybe on wednesday, we´ll try again.
I liked the Brandenburger Tor alot, even though there were loads of people. It was pretty big, way bigger than I though I would be. But since the weather way very nice, I could take some great photos.

After visiting "Tourist Berlin" I wanted to see a little bit of the other parts this city had. Berlin is a city for hipsters. Loads of people who are dressed very indie walk around the graffitied streets. I love this grunge atmosphere a lot. I would dress indie if I could, and if it would suit me. Maybe I´ll do a post on grunge looks soon.
Since we live in Kreuzberg, the alternate borough of Berlin, we have a lot of awesome street art around. I´ll do a whole post on this either.
In most of the souvenirshops you can get huuge posters of the famous graffities. And let me tell you : They´re pretty amazing. I couldn´t take a photo of them, copyright you know, but if you google " Berlin street art" you´ll find the most famous ones. I personally like the one with the ATAT´s fom Star Wars.

Black n´White from a different angle

After cutting my long overall into a short one, I can´t stop wearing it! I really love it,even though I kind of look like an 12-year old. I put these few studds on by myself, so I sort of diy-ed it to make it more "me". 

Black and white combinations are a very safe way to improve your styling, because you cant really go wrong.. a lot. So I thought about making the classy monochrome look, a little more "teenager-friendly". Well, this is what I ended with.

I like black and white cords a lot, but I didn´t want it to look depressive, so I added a teenage-touch to it. I think the print on this crop top is very playfull and adds a lot of interest onto the whole look. And you can´t go wrong with wearing a black beanie, even in summertime! I love how effortless an outfit can look, just by putting on a beanie. In my opinion, it makes you look a lot more edgy istantly!!!
But this is just my way of styling the classic " black and white" combi.

Waterproof Makeup

So since it´s summer you probly be going to the pool or the beach alot. Apart from this you are sweating and your face is very disgusting and gross( Ok I should probly stop talking..) So my ponit is: If you don´t want your makeup to drown downwards on your face, you´ve got to use waterproof makeup.
But with the fact that it´s summer, light makeup is like essential. I hate putting on a ton of makeup when it´s hot, cause your face just gets super cakey.
But this is what I used on a hot day when I went to the pool.

OOTD#3- Why I love Sales aka. The Overall

I wanted to have one of these cool rompers/overalls for a lifetime. But I couldn´t find any which were´nt to expensive. But one lucky day I went shopping with a friend of mine and found this long overall in Pimpkies sale section. It was reduced from 40 Bucks to 7 !!! This was a crazy deal!I was flashed and my hand automaticly went to my purse and my credit card. 
I filmed an OOTD video for you, so you can see it "in action". 
Please let me know what you think about my idea of cutting those into shorts :)

"Worth the Hype?" #3- Maybelline Rocket Mascara

 

People have been raving about this mascara since last summer, and as a "slow-burn" at hypes, I just recently got it. And now I wanted to tell you if it´s still worth all the fuss :)

Since I got it in France, I got it for 4 bucks less!!! So I think the price is okay for what you get out of it. The consistency is quite thick, much thicker than the "Collossal Volume" mascara. It really gives you massive lashes! But you have to be careful, cause they get spidery very easily. So brush through them several times to get rid of all the clumps. At first I thought the brush was quite bad, but it´s actually ok. The  bristles are quite short. So I though of using the "Collossal Volume"´s brush instead. But I havn´t tried yet.

In the end, I think it´s a great mascara, which thickens your lashes like crazy! But the "Collossal Volume" was just as great in my opinion. So I think, the"Rocket Mascara" isn´t exactly worth the hype, but Maybelline´s mascaras in general totally are!!!

Spring Favourites

So, after a couple of weeks of "not-posting-anything-dom", I finally found time to show you my SPRING FAVOURITES *yaay*

1. Parfume: Escada "CHERRY IN THE AIR"
This is just the perfect scent for spring/summer! It literally smells like fresh cherries! If you like sweet fruity scents this is perfect for you, and you should definetly try it!

2. Face wash: Neutrogena "VISIBLY CLEAR"
I´ve purchased this product for the third time now, and I still love it! It has a creamy concistency and tiny peel pearls. The only thing bad about it is that it´s white and you have to rinse several times to get it completely off your face. But altogether it´s a great every-day face wash.

3. Dry shampoo: Batiste "CLEAN AND CLASSIC ORIGINAL"
Since the weather is getting warmer, your hair is more likely to get damaged, because of the sun. So I try to not wash it every day to avoid extra damage. Luckily, my hair isn´t that oily, but if it needs a little touch-up, I use this spray dry shampoo. It absorbs oils quite well (I I have some ) and gives you a little volume. It leaves a white stain on your hair, so you have to really gently comb it out. Next time I´ll get the brown tinted dry shampoo they also have in their line :)

4. Mascara: Qlinique "Lash doubling mascara"
My Maybelline mascara died, so I had to go back to one of my old favourites. This mini-mascara is awesome! It really lenghtens your lashes like crazy! But you have to be careful not to get spider lashes with this, because it easily sticks them together.

5. Toner: Lush "TEA TREE WATER"
You may or may not have seen my "Mini cosmetics Haul", where I talked about this already. So, lately  I´ve been running out of it, so I had to buy another one. I love Lush products in general, but mostly I´ve been using their bath bombs, until I tried this spray toner. It´s really great and cleansing! And it really comes in handy, because you don´t necessarily need a cotton pad (although I like using one mostly). You can just spray it onto you face and voíla!

6. Body wash: Taylor Swift "WONDERSTRUCK"
I´ve wanted this parfume for ages and now my mom gifted the body wash to me. It smells like heaven! Its concistensy is a bit to thick in my opinion, but apart from this it´s amazing! I really like the Taylor Swift scents, "Entchanted" also smells really nice!

7. Nailpolish: Yves Rocher " BLEU NACRÉ"
I`m totally in love with this color! In my opinion, it´s perfect for spring and summer! It reminds me a lot of the color of the sky on a nice summer day :) It is very thick, so one coat is enough to get the exact color. It´s very small, so I think I need to go and get another one soon.

My stepmum got them for me when she was in London´s Primark :D
They´re just so supercute, I mean they have kitten faces on them!!! *_*

This is like the best invetion since the internet! It´s a Chai tea from David rio called"Tiger Spice". It tastes like christmas, I swear! You can mix it with hot or cold milk or water, or you do it like me and mix it into your coffe^^ It tasted awesome like this, because it has creamer in it, so it adds a very unique taste to your coffe. I´ve also made "Chai Frappé"! You just have to put a few tablespoons of this in your blender, together with a cup of milk and two cups of crushed ice :)
Even though this stuff is super expensive, I got the XXL tin of it, for about 10 Euros(Or 5 pounds, or 20$, whatevs), because I JUST FREAKING LOVE IT!

I´ve watched generation 1+2 two times now, and still can´t accept the fact that it´s over. I´ll watch Pure Rise and Fire soon!
If you don´t know it, you really should watch it, because it´s so super awesome! It´s about a group of teenagers which are dealing with several problems and just growing up in general. Every two seasons, the people change, so it never get´s boring! I swear, this show is just one of the most adorable TV Shows there ever was!

Collective Beauty Haul

So, I picked up some stuff...

Nailpolishes:
Yves Rocher: Esmalte
Lóreal Paris: Miracle Repair (for damaged Nails)
Essie: Jazzy Jubilant (Topcoat)

I wanted some new colours for springtime and I loved that blue, because it reminded me of the pretty sky in springtime. It looked awesome paired with that glittery topcoat of Essie. And as a base I used "Miracle Repair", cause I´ve got quite brittle nails. Until now, it worked quite well.

Shower gel:
Yves Rocher: Strawberry, Olive, Coconut
They just smelled nice, I mean c´mon, I just needed to pick up those okay?

Lip balms:
Yves Rocher: Vanilla, Almond

I had them a while ago and picked up some new ones, cause I´ve always loved them and will always do :)

Drugstore stuff:
Powder: Manhattan 
Conditioner: Dove
My last powder broke so I had to get a new one, since I´ve got quite oily skin.
I had to face the mysterious fact of my hair breaking all the time, even when I don´t even own a hair straightener or some of those heat tools. Which is very unfair, but I have to live with it, so I picked up this conditioner. Hopefully it will help a little.

"Worth the hype?" #1- Baby Lips

Today I want to show you something, which you probably already know. They´ve been raved about the last months. Yes, it´s time to take a look on the Maybelline Baby Lips!
So many people have been talking about them, and said they´re amazing. But are they really worth the hype? Let´s find out!!!

In General:

Severally:

• Peach Kiss: It´s a nudy shade,which give a little tiny bit   of peachy color. It moistruizes quite well and smells amazing!!!
• Cherry me: This one gives the most color out of this three.It´s a very pretty and shiny pink cherry tone. The moisture is not as well as Peach Kiss or Hydrate.
• Hydrate: As its name already says, it´s very hydrating. It gives the most moisture out of all three. It has an amazing citrus scent,but poorly it has no color.
